Muscular tissue is a type of animal tissue that is soft and is responsible for movement. These are of 3 types - unstriped (i.e. not having stripes), striated (i.e. series of bands appear due to the presence of sarcomeres) & cardiac (i.e. it constitutes the main tissue of walls of the heart).
