In the poem "The Solitary Reaper", the songs sung by the girl was very deep and touching. Though the poet was unable the understand the language of the song, still it had the ability to touch his heart and bore in his soul long after it was not heard.
The poet had even forgotten his worries and was lost in the girl's music.

Music has such ability in our lives too. Whenever we are depressed, we tend to listen to music as it soothes us and enables us to forget our tensions. Thus, music is very powerful.
