Radius of circle = 12 cm

Area = pi × r^2

Area = 3.14 ☓ 144 cm^2

Area = 452.16 cm^2

Now radius of outer circle formed due to ring of road = 12 + 8 cm = 20 cm

Area of outer circle = 1256 cm^2

Area of road = area of outer circle - area of circle park.

= 1 256 - 452.16 cm^2

Area of road = 803.84 cm^2
