I want to be an IAS officer, just like every child has goals and aspirations. We all have aspirations, and it was my father who helped me realise their value and encouraged me. I truly enjoyed it because I want to contribute to my country. I am adamant that one day I will serve as an IAS officer.

IAS Officer responsibilities

One should genuinely be able to handle the responsibilities because it is more than just a job description. They are accountable for the region they select. However, social progress and reformation are their primary goals. Either a society, a group of individuals, a school, etc., are developing.

For the development of a particular area, an IAS officer may create new regulations. If you think a school need to be built nearby, you can inform the authorities and assist the community.

In a similar vein, it depends on where you are stationed. If it is in the public sector, you will have the chance to work in social services; but, if it is at the federal level, you will need to collaborate with the government to create new laws and regulations. A number of IAS officers work for various ministers and provide them with advice. Additionally, they are vital to the country's progress.
