Friends are as important as a family, we cannot live without them. We share our happiness, feelings and problems with them. We need them for companionship, for playing, for enjoyment. Had not been for them we would be very lonely and life would become unbearable.

A friend in need is a friend indeed’ is an apt adage. A true friend is the one, who is by your side when you are in trouble, if your friend changes sides when you are in trouble then he can not be a good friend.

I have many friends and I enjoy a lot with them. We go out together, we play together and at times we also study together, but from amongst all of them, the friend I like the most is Ratul, as a matter of fact, whatever happens, I can always trust him.

I am sure that he will never talk behind my back and if some one speaks against me, he will be the first one to defend me.

Not only this, if I have done any thing wrong he is the first one to say so, on my face. He is a philosopher and guide to me. He is always ready to share his things with me. There is a lot of trust between us and we share our intimate secrets with each other without being misunderstood. He is more like a brother than a friend. We are also sure that both of us would keep our secrets confidential.

He is good in studies and so whenever I have a problem in my school he helps me. He is the captain of our Football team and because of him we usually win all the matches. He is fast and can dribble the ball in such a way that the opposing team is caught unawares.

We share the same interests and this also makes our friendship everlasting. We can talk with each other for hours together on football, cricket, film star and other various subjects. We are like two bodies and one soul. We have such friendship that everyone in school talks about us but one needs to understand that friendship is also like a sapling which has to be nurtured with a lot love and care.

We know each other’s strengths and weaknesses. We never try to judge each other and the fact that we know each other, through and through, makes our friendship strong. We have been friends since class I.

The reason is that we have unconditional love for each other. My friend is unselfish and I admire him for that. I would say that the admiration for each other is mutual. He also admires me and I love him for that, after all, friendship is a two side affair and a give and take relationship usually wins all the matches. My best friend is someone special whom I can share my all feelings. He is Raghav. He lives with me as my neighbour in the same colony. We met each other in the nursery class on the very first day. We sit together in the classroom and share everything very happily without any problem. We know each other very well as well as understand each other’s need. He is leadership in nature, tall, fair in complexion, good looking and smart. She is very good in studies and behaves well with everyone. He does his class work and homework very attentively. He is favourite student of class teacher as he is very punctual and follows all the etiquettes.

We share our Tiffin in the lunch time. He respects my feelings and helps me always. Many things of us like hobbies, likes, dislikes, etc are similar. We love to listen music, watching cartoons and playing carom at home. We take care of each other in the school and playground. We share school copies and help each other whenever one of us remain absent in the school. We love drawing sceneries and arts in our spare time. We go at tour and picnic with our parents together in every winter and summer vacation.
