India is my country and I am proud to be born here. I have quite a few wishes for my country like affordable quality education for all, social security, access to basic medical services for all, safe and secure environment for women, clean and green environment, free of corruption to name a few. But my biggest wish is to have affordable quality education for all children of my country. I feel ashamed when I see young children begging and working at shops or houses rather going to school. It is really painful to see these kids spending their precious time working for their livelihood instead of investing it in getting education to have a bright future. Government has taken so many initiatives to attract the children to schools like providing free books, free uniform and free meals for those who come to school. Despite of these initiatives still many children are not getting benefited from these. I see there are quite a few hurdles in making them educated. The biggest hurdle is the social security of their family as most of the time they are forced to earn money to meet their families’ daily needs. I wish if we can have some innovative schemes implemented as part of “Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan” where in some incentive can be given to those families which have all their children attending school on regular basis. This will motivate more and more children to go to school and which eventually will contribute to make India a stronger nation.

We all have different views and wishes for our own country India. Many of our wishes may be common and we try our best to fulfill our wish for our country. Trying to fulfill our wishes will in turn improve the conditions of the country and make it a better one. India will be the best only when people living in it will try to make it so.

I wish many things for my country; India. Some of my wishes are: a peaceful country, an educated country, a country whose citizens are loving, caring and understanding and many more. The utmost wish of mine for my country is to establish a secular country. We all know that according to our Indian constitution, India is a secular country. This is just a written rule but in real, India is not secular.

There are many disputes between people of different religionsespecially between the Hindus and the Muslims. They need to understand that we are all Indians in spite of belonging to different religions. We fight unnecessarily just because others poke us to do so. I want to clear all the misunderstandings between them. I will tell them the importance of unity. When united, we can overcome any problem. This is what I want to make them know. I am sure that I will be able to unite India but I will do so when I grow up.
