My Classmates
In our class Mayank is the noisiest- of all boys. His voice is like that of a bull frog, but the volume is louder. In this noisy bunch is a girl who hardly ever opens her mouth and her name is Padma. The boy who sits next to me is such a gentle and soft creature.
Then there is Disha, our class monitor. She sits right in front of the teacher’s table. She is such a model student that all the teachers love her. We all love her because she does not boss us around. All she does is to make sure that the teachers have sufficient chalk to write on the board and that the class-room is clean.
Right at the back of the class sits our sleepy-head. Manish seems to need more sleep than others. He catches cat-naps in between lessons. The funny thing is that he can fall asleep almost instantly. The moment the teacher leaves after a lesson, Manish’s snores start up and we know he is at it again.
Every class has a clown. Our class has Jimmy. He is always up to some prank or the other, putting tails on the boys’ pants, frogs in the girls’ desks and powdered chalk on the teacher’s chair. So when we hear a girl scream or see men-teachers strolling around with chalk on the seat of their pants, we know that Jimmy has struck again.
The other classmates too have their own unique personalities. All in all, we are a group of young children who perhaps are a bit noisy at times, but on the whole, are well-behaved and pleasant to be with.
Answer:
I read in grade 8th. in my class there are thirty students. All the students in my class are friends with each other and help each other in every work. We perform different activities given by our teacher together. Also, my classmates are the most obedient students in the school. Our class has been awarded as the best-disciplined class this year. We all participate in every event with great enthusiasm and motivate others to do the same.I would generally describe my class as a mirthful bunch. Of course, there are several quiet classmates like Wenli and Horace, who prefer to keep to themselves than join in our boisterous behaviour when the teacher is not in class. I sometimes wonder how they are able to block out the noise because we can be most annoying during those times. The thing I admire most about my class is our ability to work harmoniously together. Co-operation is one of our strongest points as a class. For example, we are supportive of our own classmates who take part in the annual sports meet and swimming carnival. Our classmates who participate, in turn, would get fired up by our constant cheering and encouragement and do better in their events. As a result, our class is always in the top three positions for best athletes.
