my country my rights
Answers
Explanation:
As citizens of India, we are provided with several rights by our constitution. These include both fundamental and constitutional rights. Fundamental Rights are included in the Articles 14 to 32 of the Constitution, and constitutional rights are spread throughout, like right to vote, right to sell property, labour rights etc. both these sets of rights are important for a healthy life. They help us to lead dignified and productive lives, and contribute to the progress of the nation.
Especially, the Fundamental Rights provide a\us with powers vis- -vis the government. It ensures that the government cannot discriminate between people or silence their criticism. It also ensures that we can be religiously free, and can teach our children about the religions that we embrace. They advocate for equality before law and equality at workplace.
As citizens, we are provided several rights. But, without the Right To Constitutional Remedies, all this would be meaningless. It ensures that we can approach the court and seek redressal for violation of our rights in any forms.
Even constitutional rights are very important. They provide necessary civil and political leverage that the citizens need. They also protect workers in the workplace, children in dire situations and promote a sense of fraternity amongst people.
In the end, I would say that we are lucky to live in a society that provides so many rights. But we need to be careful and understand the limits of liberties given to us and never impinge on others rights. At the same time, we should be conscious of our Fundamental Duties and follow them. If we are successful, we will be a better democracy and a happier and safer society for our lesser brethren.
