Esther here is your answer....❣️

1.A horse pushes the ground in the backward direction. According to Newton's third law of motion, a reaction force is exerted by the Earth on the horse in the forward direction. As a result, the cart moves forward.

2.By Newton's Third law of motion, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. ... Due to this backward reaction, the hose pipe tends to move backwards. This backward movement makes it difficult for the fireman to hold the hose pipe and the fireman has to hold the hose pipe strongly.

3.Initially, the rifle is at rest. The negative sign indicates that the rifle recoils backwards with a velocity of 0.4375 m/s......

hope this answer help you dear ❣️♥️......

Answer:

Ans. 1 if the action is always equal to reaction, a horse is able to pull a cart as the horse is applying the force on the ground and in reaction, the ground also applies force on the forse. So it is able to move.

Ans. 2 it is hard for a fire man to hold a hose which ejects a large amount of water at a high velocity as when the water comes out of the hose, it exerts force on the hose and the hose does the same in reaction. So fireman finds it hard to hold a hose.
