When an active voice sentence is changed into passive voice there are a few changes that are made in it.

Firstly the subject is made the object and the object is changed to a subject.

Secondly, the subject is followed by the preposition ’by’.

Another change made is changing the form of verb to past participle form of verb.

Thus, after making these changes, the passive voice of the given sentence will be ‘I was beaten by my father.’

Hey Dear!
________

Question:  Active Voice Sentence -

My father beat me.

The above sentence is in Simple Past Tense.

Answer:  Passive Voice Sentence -

I was beaten by my father.  (Simple Past Tense)

Main changes include -

My father - I
me - by my father

Explanation :
i). While changing into Passive Voice, some changes need to be made like interchanging of Subject and Object.

ii). In Active Voice - Subject is the (doer or active)
In Passive Voice - The Subject is the (receiver of the action or passive)

iii). Here, the Object (me) of Active Voice is made the Subject (I) of the Passive Voice. The Subject (My father) of the Active Voice becomes the Object (by my father) of the Passive Voice.

iv). Keep in mind that, the Tense of the sentence does not change. The given Active Voice Sentence is in 'Past Tense' and the same is maintained in its Passive Voice.

v). When necessary, a 'by agent' is used in the Passive Voice. Here, 'by my father' is the 'by agent'.
