You will not get a scholarship just because your father is paying taxes. You can only get a scholarship if you qualify in any scholarship exam or if you are a scheduled caste/scheduled tribe (reservation). So if you aren't eligible for any reservation scholarships, you should try to pass a scholarship exam, they are generally very tough and have a lot of competition but if you work hard you can achieve it and win a scholarship.
