Answer:

hey here is your answer

pls mark it as brainliest

so here we go

Step-by-step explanation:

let age of my father be x years and that of mine be y years

so according to first condition

(x-5)+2y=65

ie x+2y=70 (1)

according to second condition

(y-5)+3x=130

ie 3x+y=135 (2)

multiply (2) by 2

we get

6x+2y=270 (3)

so subtract (1) from (3)

we get

5x=200

ie x=40

hence age of my father currently is 40 years
