Answer:

Answer:Father's age will be 40

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the father's age be n,

and your age be y,

then the equation formed is

( n-5 ) + 2y = 65

( y-5 ) + 3n = 130

Through eq(1) we get,

n-5 + 2y = 65

n-5 = 65-2y

n= 65-2y+5

Putting the value of n in eq (2) we get

( y-5 ) + 3 ( 65-2y+5) =130

-5y = 130 - 205

-5y = -75

y=15

After putting Value of y in eq (1)

( n-5) +2(15) = 65

n-5+30=65

n=65-30+5

n=40
