My father's Age 5 years ago + twice my age now give 65. My age 5 years ago + 3 times my father's age now gives 130. What is my father's age?

=> f + 2s = 70 ----------(1)

and (s-5)+3f = 130

=> s+3f = 135 --------(2)

(2) - 3*(1) =>

s - 6s = -75

-5s = -75

=> s = 15

=> f+2(15) = 70 ( by (1) )

=> f= 70-30 = 40
