My father's Age 5 years ago + twice my age now give 65. My age 5 years ago + 3 times my father's age now gives 130. What is my father's age?

1st case:

(x-5)+2y=65

=>x+2y=70-------1

2nd case:

3x+(y-5)130

=>3x+y=135------2

Multiply equation 1 with 1 and multiply equation 2 with 2..

6x+2y=270--2

=>5x=205

=>x=41
