Dear Diary!

Do you know what happened yesterday? Remember I told you about my father’s iPhone that he bought yesterday after wanting one for a long time. He was trying to put it in his shirt pocket after making a call. Unfortunately, it slipped from his hand and fell straight on to the marble floor with its screen downward. Our hearts missed a beat as Father anxiously bent down to take the phone. To our dismay, we found a crack on the screen and the phone did not turn on either.

My father hurried to the service center where they told him that the screen was alright and the crack was only on the scratch guard. Replacing it would only cost around Rs.300/-. However, the fall had caused a circuitry problem and the repair charge was nearly 1,000/-. As there was nothing else that could be done, Father asked him to proceed with the repair. He will get his iPhone from the service center today evening.
