My favourite sports - cricket
Cricket has been my favourite sport since I was little. I was a girl born to an elder brother but he didn't find any difference between us and taught me all the sports he knew. I liked cricket the most. I learned how to hit the ball using bat. I also know that a cricket is played in 22-yard (20-metre) pitch with a wicket at each end. The cricket team comprises of 11 main members 2-3 replacements for replacing injured players. The game is adjudicated by two umpires, aided by a third umpire and match referee in international matches. Twenty20 is played with each team batting for a single innings of 20 overs and the game generally lasting three hours, whereas Test matches played over five days. Before a match begins, the team captains (who are also players) toss a coin to decide which team will bat first and so take the first innings.
