Explanation:

Dr. Abdul Kalam was a great human being. He was a model for secular India. He was a global citizen. He was a realistic dreamer. He was an inspiration for young and old alike. He was apolitical. He was selfless. He is a model for simplicity. Great men are generally not great political leaders. He was a gentle giant in his own merits. Leaders of our independent struggle would have easily voted him to carry on as President of India for the second term too. The Congress party as usual derailed a great chance of supporting him for the President’s post again. He was a proud son of India. I have never seen people shedding tears for any president of India when they passed away in the past. People literally cried on hearing the sad news of his demise. Ironically he passed away while addressing young school children, the future our nation. People wish their leaders to be like Mr. Kalam, a great Indian. He made India a strong and united country in the modern days by his efforts on rocket science. He could have been a great leader if all of us were selfless patriots including the 542 M P s and 32 Chief ministers of the states. He died after deprivation of getting a second chance to be in the chair. He was magnanimous. He was modest in self assessment. I am not a B J P man but I am grateful to its leadership for making him our president once. He was a phenomenon. He was a great apolitical leader. I request the people of India to read his books. It will help us to understand that India was lucky to have him. We stand stronger than ever before to realize the great Tagore's Nobel winning poem where the mind is without fear, and the head is held high…. Great Dr. Kalam has laid the seed. Can Indians realize the dreams of their greatest leaders?
