my favourite twig is 41 cm long. will it fit on a tray 35 cm long and 25 wide math

by using pythagoras theorem,

diagonal^2 = (35)^2 + (25)^2

= 1225 + 625

= 1850

on squaring the length of the twig, we get that it is 1681

since it less than the diagonal of the drawer, the twig fits into the drawer.
