in 2007 I was six years old. I can remember a very important event that happened in my life. That was my experience with my first day at high school. On that very day, my father took me to 9 no East Sadhanpur Primary School situated in our village. He took me to the headmaster’s room. My heartbeat was being faster. But the headmaster’s smiling face and gentle words put me at ease
He asked me my name and my age. I told him my name and age. He was pleased with me. The headmaster told me that I was a very intelligent and cute boy. Then the headmaster pointed to a letter chart and asked me to say some letters. I could say them all. The headmaster then called a teacher. He told him to take me to my new class. I bade goodbye to my father and the teacher. I entered the classroom. Then he welcomed me and gave me a seat in the classroom. My classmates received me warmly. I felt very happy.
