Answer: See the base is right angle triangle at the bottom having sides 6,8 and 10

Area of triangle = 0.5*6*8 = 24 sq.cm

Volume = Area of cross section*height = 24*14 = 336 cubic cm

To calculate surface area, there are five surfaces. One triangle at the bottom having area of 24 sq. cm. One triangle at the top having area of again 24 sq.cm. one rectangular front surface having sides of 10cm and 14 cm giving area equal to 140 sq.cm.

One rectangle on the right having sides as 8 cm and 14 cm giving area equal to 112 sq.cm

One rectangle on the left having sides as 6 cm and 14 cm giving area equal to 84 sq.cm

So total surface area = 384 sq.cm
