hey mate,

your question:

my first question can we hear any sound in moon ?

answer:

There is no atmosphere on the surface of the Moon. Sound cannot travel without a medium. Hence, there is no sound on the Moon.

How astronauts communicate in moon ???

answer:

So how do the astronauts communicate in space? They make use of radio waves. Radio waves signal are sent their headsets that in turn translates the signal in the form of sound. While communicating with people on Earth – the radio waves are transmitted which in turn are transformed to sound wave by a radio set.

Answer: We cannot hear any sound on moon

Astronauts on moon communicate by walkie talkies

Now time for explanation

Explanation:

We cannot hear any sounds on the moon as sound is a longitudinal wave and can travel only in a medium like air, water or metal but on moon no medium is there for the travelling of sound. That's why we cannot hear any sound on the moon.

As the walkie talkie emits waves that are not longitudinal but rather are transverse waves that do not need a medium to travel. That's why astronauts can communicate on moon without the presence of air.

Hope, it helps.
