Answer:

300 kgs

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

fresh grapes contain 75 percent water while dry grapes contain 15 percent water.

Fresh grapes contains 75% water then remaining 25% is pulp

dry grapes contains 15% water then remaining 85% is pulp

If the weight of dry grapes is 300 kg.,

water:pulp=15%:85%

water:pulp=3:17

let water/pulp=3x/17x

if the total weight of water and pulp is 300

3x+17x=300

x=15

water is 3x=3*15=>45 kg    which i 15%

pulp is 17x=17*15=>255 kg    which is 85%

please find their total weight when they were fresh.

in dry grapes 15% water is 45 kg

in fresh grapes 75% water is ?

let it be x kg

15%=45 kg

75%=x kg

x=75*3

x=225 kg water in fresh grapes

in dry grapes 85% pulp is 255 kg

in fresh grapes 25% pulp is ?

let it be x kg

85%=255

25%=75 kg

total weight of fresh grapes are 225+75=300 kg
