My friend has weak eyesight . He is unable to see the writing on the board but refuse to wear his glasses. As a result he is not able to do well in his
class assignment.
Q.How i would encourage him to wear glass ?
Q.What i would say to convince him ?

You can encourage him by make him realize that how bad he is doing in his class assignments. And also, you can tell him the benefits of the glass e.g., it reduces the headache and eye strain.
