Changing Sentence from Active to Passive voice:

Active : My friends call me to play.

Passive : I am called by my friends to play.

❒ Note how the form has changed:-

  • The Object of the Verb in Active Voice (me) becomes the Subject of the Verb in the passive voice.
  • The Subject in the Active Voice (My friends) becomes the Object of the Verb in the Passive voice. And the Preposition by has been used before it.
  • An appropriate form of the Verb to be (am) has been used followed by the Third form(Past Participle) of the Verb (call)
