My Best Gift Essay

Gift is an object which is given freely without expecting anything to the nearest and Dearest on particular occasion as a token of Expressing their gratitude, love and friendship, Gifts will be remembered for longer time or life time. Some of the common occasions are Birth Day, Marriage, Anniversaries, Festivals, Personal Celebrations etc., Prior to Summer Vacation, My Mom and Dad have promised me that they will get some surprise gift for me. Around the same time, My mom was looking for replacing her 2 year old Mobile, They started looking for a simple mobile to suit her needs mainly to receive and to call when needed.

At the same time my summer vacation started, My Mom and Dad took me to Samsung Exclusive showroom, after looking at the standard ones, they started looking at Smart phones. You know they took “Samsung Galaxy”. My mom Said it is too expensive and was not in Need. But My dad said, It’s for Sathvick with terms and conditions that this summer he uses as Gaming Console and You use as a Phone.

It was a Big Surprise Gift of this Summer. Samsung Galaxy was my gift, I like it the most because of its Look and feel, Awesome features, It has Touch Screen, Fantastic Camera with Video recording, Excellent Music Player, FM, Bundle of Wonderful Apps and Marvelous Gaming Box, We also got many Paid games. I played games like Temple Run 1 and 2,Fruit Ninja,Piano Perfect and other mind boggli









Every year, I always receive a lot of different gifts from my parents, brothers and friends on my birthday. But on my 21th birthday, I received a special gift from my best friend. She gave me a small red box and said that: “This is my special gift for you. I hope you will love it”. I opened it. It was a thick book.

I could have been never envisage that my best friend would give me such a precious gift. The book with title was “Life Without Limits” by an extraordinary man, Nick Vujicic. The book was not only Nick’s story but also plenty of stories of other people that Nick encountered. I really impressed to the story of author who had been born without limbs, but he overcame his disabilities to live an independent and fulfilling life. He told the story of his emotional battle when he went to school as a child, teen, and young adult. Nick showed how he learned to accept what he could not control. He encouraged everyone to find their life's purpose and to ignore their inferiority. Nick Vujicic's book has been one of the best books I had ever read. The book even helped me make positive changes in practical. I knew that my best friend chose this gift for me because of spiritual value of this book. The motto of Nick: “Life without meaning has no hope. Life without hope has no faith.” that was also mine.

Although it was not highly cost, I was happy and I keep it as a treasure. However, it was also the last gift from my best friend. Now, she had to move to Ho Chi Minh City with her husband. I was upset when I knew that. Whenever i read it, I miss my best friend so much.
