Explanation of first Stanza
The poet prays to God that his country man should have good qualities. They should be fearless, self-respected and pride. A wise man should give knowledge free to poor and without consideration money or cast, knowledge should be right of everyone. People should not have narrow-minded patriotism. The country should not be divided into parts and regions. People should not say things to please others.

where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection; where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit; where the mind is led forward by Thee into ever-widening thought and action – Into that heaven of freedom, my father, let my country awake
Explanation of second Stanza
People make efforts for progress and they keep it continue until they are perfect. He wants that his countryman should have three qualities, he wants that people should have their own power of understanding and they have their own views. Old and useless customs cannot stop them. They should be sincere and honest. If his countryman has all these qualities then they will have real freedom and their country will be Heaven
