Answer:
Few days back I wrote about the various issues faced by us in growing vegetables and other plants and also how we take care of them, protecting them from various pests, and provide them with adequate nutrients, with the limited knowledge that we have gained during this period.
Had written therein that I would be posting some details about the plants that I have grown. Though not so much in quantity, we had started with some vegetables in the small backyard – like some bananas, Lobiya (Payar), Kundru (Kovakka), tomatoes, Papitas and Karela. Some of the photos I had already shared. Now we have few banana plants, two three types of Palak (Spinach), some Lobiya (Payar), Ladies finger (Bhindi/Okra), Tomatoes, Papayas, Karela (Bitter gourd), Kundru (Ivy gourd/Kovakka), Arbi, Tapioca, Muringa (Drumstick), Passion Fruit vine, Butter fruit tree and one coconut tree. Each of these plants have their specific requirements of care and challenges.
I have observed that some of these plants and the way it fruits are quite unique. For example, the Ladies finger (Bhindi/Okra) flower – it is so beautiful and bright to see. It is a pleasure to watch it turn into the vegetable
