My Locality After Sunset
The locality I live in a small town nearby the capital city of Assam. The town is filled with scenic natural beauty as it is located on the North Bank of River Brahmaputra.
As the sun sets the sunlight slowly says bye by creating a canvas in the sky with the last rays of the sun. The electric bulbs, lamps, street lights are switched on and the darkness of the night is eliminated.
Just like the birds return to their nest as the evening gets dark the individuals of the neighbourhoods also start to return to their homes, few from the offices or from tuitions or from several other works.
Few people in the locality take an evening walk. The priests of the nearby Temple starts the evening 'aarti’ and the place filled with the mesmerising sound of prayers.
The small fast food stalls near our house open and people from our neighbourhood go to those stalls to have some snacks. Late in the evening after sunsets those who are an evening strolling outside returns home.

'Locality' means our surroundings ,our local environment ,our neighbours etc. Actually ,locality is our foster mother ,with whom we start our day, we spend our time and also end our day .If I want to describe my locality then ,at first I'll say about the natural beauty of here .the nature has painted this area with the touch of green in her canvas .the nature has spread her hands in this area with many flowers and fruit trees , different birds ,animals ,etc.Almost 20-25 houses are present here ,where there is peace ,love,humanity among the people . Our locality presents us a beautiful morning where the 'alarm clock' is the songs of the birds .In the end of the day ,she also bids 'GOOD NIGHT' to us with a deep silence at the night . In different seasons our locality takes different looks .In the rainy season ,it is covered with green ,when, in the winter there are no leaves left in the trees .So ,it is the nature .Now let's come to the point of our neighbours . How the marble slabs contain different colorful stones ,just like that , our locality is full of diversity .Most of the people are prominent human who have a kind heart and a helpful mind .They stay beside each other ,when it is deep trouble or ,the pal of dark sorrow descends on anyone .Again they enjoy their happiness together.So in this way ,it can be said there is , 'UNITY BETWEEN DIVERSITY '.We ,the people of this locality always try to take proper care of her ,try to keep her clean. But, inspite of these our locality is not totally faultless. Some people also are here ,who are very much selfish ,self centered .And sometimes we make the nature a bit dirty through our lifestyle .But the impurities of gold ,do matter its glitter ,just like that ,these matters cannot fade the goodness of our locality. So,locality is our living place ,where we live with others and gradually grow up.But ,is there any need to stay in a locality with others ?Yes ,there is. We are human beings and we can't live separately .We have to stay with others .That's what the locality does .So ,if Mother India is our mother ,then the locality must be the guardian of our life .So we should take proper care of her ,.Shouldn't we ?
