My mate,
Parishith is the successor of Yuthistra,he is the son of Abimanyu and Uttra. He is the grand son of Subhadra and Arjun. His successor was Janmejaya(his son).
He was named as Parishith as he was tested by lord before his birth ,i.e., Aswattama after the death of Duryodhan tried to fulfill the wish of Duryodhan that is to kill all 5 oandavas. So,be went to the pandavas camp but pandavas were not there instead their sons were sleeping, Aswattama killed the sons of padavas.Pandavas returned after they took bath in ganga ,they was astonished to see their dead sons.
They went to Aswattama asked about it.Aswattama then directed Brahma asthira to kill the child which is growing in Uttra's womb. Then krishna punished him and then gave life to the dead child in Uttra's womb so the child was named as Parishith as he was tested.by lord before his birth.

Death of Parishith:-
Parishith ruled the kingdom of his grand uncle(Yuthistra) for 24 yrs after Yuthistra ruled it for 36 yrs.Once Parishith went for hunting he felt thirsty so ,he entered into the sage's house, called samika. He greeted the sage many times ,the sage didn't notice so, Parishith threw a dead sbake on the neck of the sage. The sage cursed Parishith that he will die by a snake bite as he distrubed the sage while medtitating.
Takshaka a snake killed him.Taksha also took vow to kil the sons of Pandavas as they created their kingdom Indraprastha on his place.
Within a weekvJanmejaya did a snake sacrifice to kill all the snakes in the world as it killed his beloved father Parishith.
Parishith ruled the kingdom for 24 yrs and died when he was in age of 60.
Hope this is helpful...
