WHEN THE 80s Bollywood star Salma Agha sang her famous song Dil Ke Armaan Aansuoen Mein Beh Gaye from the iconic movie Nikaah last week at the Khaleej Times’ office, she transported us back in time. We did not miss any musical instruments while she was singing because her voice itself is still so powerful. She told us that if you are a good classical singer then you do not need any instruments. “Age makes no difference. In fact, singing is the only form of art that becomes better as you age because you sing with experience and not necessarily your voice,” said Salma. The veteran actress/singer was visiting the Khaleej Times’ office along with her beautiful daughter Zara Khan to talk about their recent visit to the Cannes Film Festival to promote Zara’s film Khoj which was screened at the prestigious film festival.
