Let my age be x.
Hence, my mother's age will be (2x+12).
After 8 years, my age = x+8
My mother's age = 2x+12+8 = 2x+ 20
But according to the question,
my mother's age after 8 years = 3x-20
Accordingly,
2x+20 = 3x-20
x = 40
My age = 40years
My mother's age = 2*40 + 12 = 92years.
