Answer :-    ◆ My mother asked me how I had lost my mobile phone.   Here, "said to" changed into "asked", "did" changed into "had", "lose" changed into "lost".   • In imperative sentences, "said to" changes into "asked" , "ordered", "adviced" , etc such that the command is given.  • If the command is interrogated, then we use "asked", if advice is given, then we use "adviced" , if order is given, then we use "ordered".  There are two types of speeches :-  • Direct Speech • Indirect Speech
