My mother says, in her childhood petrol was 1 rupee a litre. It is 52 per litre today. By what percentage has the price gone up?

because earlier the price of petrol is low because of low population at earlier time nobody has own vehicles only few person have vehicles due to population.now a days population is to high because of increasing birth rates and everyone have own vehicles and it is important necessity. so the demand of petrol is high due the price of petrol increase

increased value=52-1=51

increase %= 51/1*100=5100%
