_________Hi mate______

Question :-

Change the following sentence into passive :-

➡ My mother teaches english.

____________________

Answer :-

Given sentence is in active form therefore we make some changes in the same sentence to make it passive. These changes are basically the rules to change the sentence to change it's form from active to passive.

In this case we take Noun (which is 'english') here in front of whole sentence, then we take the superlative form of verb (which is 'teach here').

Note :- we must use -ing form of 'be' which is 'being' if the given sentence was in present continuous form. But that's not the case here.

Sentence is in present simple, so here is how it looks :-

Active :-

My mother teaches English.

passive :-

English is taught by my mother.

we've applied exactly the same rules to make it passive from active.

  • Bring 'English' in front of sentence.
  • take the superlative form of 'teach' which is 'taught'.
  • insert helping verbs
  • finally rearrange the sentence

we are done :-)
