$\bf{Cricket}$ is a sport played at international levels between two teams, consisting of eleven players each. Cricket was first introduced in $\bf{England}$. The sport is played on a field, which consists of a pitch ( which is 22-yard long, or say, 22 metre long ), and bails at each end, balanced on three stumps.

The game is started by the $\bf{toss}$ and the toss winning team chooses either to bat, or to bowl first. The batting team bats and sets a target. Next, the team which bowled first, bats and chases the target.

The $\bf{dew,toss,rain,etc.}$ are some deciding factors of the game, which can change the result anytime.

There are many formats of this game. I'll let you know some of them :

$\bf{Test}$ - The longest format. The game is played between the teams for 5 days, 90 overs ( approx ) per day. Both the teams get chances to bat and to bowl $\bf{twice}$.

$\bf{ODI}$(One Day International) - The middle format. The game is played between the teams for 50 overs per side.

$\bf{T20}$ (Twenty Twenty) - The shortest format. The game is played between the teams for 20 overs per side.

$\bf{IPL}$ (Indian Premier League) - Not actually a format, but a game based on the shortest format, T20.

In my opinion, cricket is a $\bf{game\:of\:legends}$ and seeing the fan following of this game, we can conclude that it's one of the most liked sport amongst all others. This game needs a high level of fitness as well as much determination. The players even need to be patient and also, the sense of tactfulness plays an important role here.
