my passion is writing fiction. but my parents are against it and are requesting to crack NEET and become a doc. what do you suggest?

First you should to discuss to your parents about your passion and nobody can understand you other than your parents

I find our condition pretty similar. I also am passionate about literature and was able to become one of the co - author in a book in which I participated surreptitiously. I firmly feel that you should follow your dreams and you should convince your parents about that. Your career will decide your future, so you have to choose a work in which you find your interest in.

Writing has always been a permanent thing in my life. If also, the pressure on you is so much that you're forced to become a doctor, you can still continue writing. And, that's the best part of it. Rather than making it your profession, you can choose it as a supplementary thing in your life.

These decisions are  very crucial for one's future. I'll suggest you to follow your own dreams soulfully and don't be swayed by others' perspectives.
