The dog is that type of friend who always ready to die to save his friend. He is still prepared to die rather than allow any harm to come to his master. A dog can bite a thief or strangers when they ignore its barking and try to mischief. Some people are terrified of dogs because the roadside dogs can harm and eat them. The pet dogs are harmless they never hurt the peoples.
People who have pet sheep they must have a dog as they are instrumental to look after the sheep. The dog never allows any wolf or fox to come near the sheep and harm them. Because of its watchful and intelligent nature, it is highly used by the police, army or another investigation department to catch murderers and criminals. Dogs can lead the policemen to the places where murders take place.
Dogs are always alert whether day or night to provide security to the owner. The lifespan of a dog is very small however it can live around 12 to 15 years long. It varies according to their size like smaller dogs live a longer life than the bigger ones. A female dog gives birth to a baby and feed milk that’s why dogs come under the mammal category. The dogs baby is called as puppy or pup, and the dogs home is called kennel.
Dogs are categorized according to their service to people such as guard dogs, herding dogs, hunting dogs, police dogs, guide dogs, sniffer dogs, etc.
