1)2 years ago,the difference of the ages of Vishal and his son was 27 years. If the Sum of their ages is 57, find their ages

2)The difference of the ages of Sheela and Anshu is 21 years and ratio of their ages is 9:2. Find their ages

1) let vishal's son's age be x then his will be 57 x ATQ

x -2 + 27 = (57-X )-2

=> x + 25=55-x

=> 2x = 55-25

=> 2x = 30

=> x =15.

so vishal's son's age is 15 yrs n vishal's age is (57-15): 42 yrs. (ANSWER)


2) a/b = 4/5

5a = 4b

b = 5a / 4

b - a = 8

b = 8 + a

5a / 4 = 8 + a

5a = 4 (8 + a)

5a = 4a + 32

a = 32

b - a = 8

b - 32 = 8

b = 40

According to the calculations, A is 32 years old and B is 40 years old
