hey dude,

1) A number is a perfect square (or asquare number) if its square root is an integer; that is to say, it is the product of an integer with itself. Here, thesquare root of 729 is 27. Therefore, thesquare root of 729 is an integer, and as a consequence 729 is a perfect square.

2) I think these measurements (4.9 cm , 7.3 cm & 2.8cm) will not form a square...

Naushu: why do you think so
Naushu: for the second one
Naushu: please state the property
Naushu: thanks
Naushu: thanks

1) 729 is a perfect square because
729=3x3x3x3x3x3 there are 3pairs of 3
2) No the given numbers are not the sides of square as square is a quadrilateral of 4equal sides. here there are only 3 sides and all the three are of different measurements.
hope it helps you
