my Question in rational numbers chapter only if I assume a rational number like 7 upon - 13 so my question is that in this rational number the negative sign is with 13 or with seven or with both ?

Answer:

whenever the negative sign is in denominator we take it to numerator to rationalise the denominator . so it depends upon you if you want to keep it in the numerator or denominator .
