Ques. A vertical u tube of uniform cross section contains water up to a height of 0.5 m . Find its :

(1) Time Period T

(2) Angular Frequency

→ Given g = 10 m/s²

Solution →(1) We have h = 0.5 m & g = 10 m/s²

 = > t = 2\pi \sqrt{ \frac{h}{g} } \\ \\ = > t = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \sqrt{ \frac{0.5}{10} }

•°• T = 1.4 seconds ✔

(2) Angular Frequency ¢ = 2π/t

 = > \frac{2 \times 22}{7 \times 1.4} = 4.49

•°• Angular Frequency = 4.49 s^-1

{ Note : I've used ¢ as 'omega' }

T = 2π √l/g

So t = 1.4

And omega = 4.49 ( 2π/t
