p(x) =  {x}^{2}  + 5x + 6

let \: p(x) \:  =  \: 0

 {x}^{2}  + 5x + 6 = 0

 {x}^{2}  + 2x + 3x + 6 = 0

x(x + 2) + 3(x + 6) = 0

(x + 2)(x + 3) = 0

x + 2 = 0 \: or \: x + 3 = 0

x =  - 2 \: or \: x =  - 3

Answer:

if you asking for roots then answer is x = -2,-3

Step-by-step explanation:

 {x}^{2}  + 5x  + 6 = 0 \\  {x}^{2}  + 2x + 3x + 6 = 0 \\ x(x + 2) +3 (x + 2) = 0 \\ (x + 3)(x + 2) = 0 \\ x =  - 2 \:  \:  - 3
