Given Equation is :3a/x - 2b/y + 5 = 0

= > 3a/x - 2b/y = -5  ------ (1)

Given Equation is a/x + 3b/y - 2 = 0

= > a/x + 3b/y = 2  ------ (2)

On solving (1) & (2) * 3, we get

3a/x - 2b/y = -5

3a/x + 9b/y = 6

------------------------

          - 11b/y = -11

          -11b = -11y

             y = b

Substitute y = b in (2), we get

= > a/x + 3b/y = 2

= > a/x + 3b/b = 2

= > a/x + 3 = 2

= > a/x = 2 - 3

= > a/x = -1

= > x = -a.

Therefore the value of x = -a and y = b.

Hope this helps!
