My question is that if cm x cm is cm 2 . Now for F=MA the S.I. unit of mass is kg and of acceleration is m/s 2 . So, shouldnt ththe S.I. unit of force be kgm/s 2 . How it is Newton ????

1 newton is the force which when acts on a body of 1 kilogram produces an acceleration of 1m/s^2.
So,
1 newton = 1 Kgm/s^2
The unit Kgm/s^2 of force is named after the scientist Sir Issaac Newton
In,your this question u have written the unit "newton" with capital N. But it is accepted universally that if a unit named after a scientist is written in complete words the first letter will be always small letter
Means,
Unit of pressure is named after Blaise Pascal
The unit is "pascal" and not "Pascal"
