My question is that what should be added to -5 by 8 so get -3 by 2?

-5/8+x=-3/2

x=-3/2-(-5/8)

x=-3/2+5/8

x=-12/8+5/8

x=-12+5/8

x=-7/8

Therefore-7/8 should be added
