I can play an important role in promoting tax payment. In view of my role in promoting tax payment, it would be my first duty to make timely payment of all taxes which I have to pay. When I pay all my taxes honestly, I can inspire others to pay taxes as well.
As a conscious citizen in promoting tax payment we should first of all not evade any kind of income tax and pay proper income tax by clearly mentioning all our income. Apart from this, whatever purchases are made, take the bill of every purchase, so that whatever sales tax is on it, it goes to the account of the government.
The economy of a country runs on taxes. Unless there is complete collection of tax, the revenue of the government will not increase and the development work of the country will be hampered.
If all the citizens of the country pay all their taxes honestly, then the revenue of the country will increase and the government will invest this money for development works, only then the country will progress progressively.
That is why it becomes the duty of all of us citizens, that we should pay our taxes honestly and only then we will be able to motivate others to do taxes.
