Well, that is how the current education system works nowadays. Once you reach in middle school,

They would half the amount of extracurricular activities and force you to do things you don't like and things which won't make any sense when you reach out to the real world. For example, learning what jhumming or shifting cultivation is called in 50 different areas is considered more important than your degrading mental health, how to do taxes, how to apply for a loan or an insurance or how to strike up a conversation is nothing as much as essential as those mugging up things. And trust me, it is not how it is just in India (where I live), it's been practised all over the world. Things which don't apply to your life or your health are being mugged up by millions of teens. Well, we cannot help this. As you can see, when we reach high school, the extracurricular activities almost end, there are no sort of music or dance or art classes because all they want us to do is focus on board exams. This is one of the major faults of the education system nowadays and we can't help it. We are students, our speeches, our opinions are not really focused upon when raised. Our issues are misunderstood with failure. You can't choose to do anything except follow the old pattern to look smart, to appear smart, you have to score grades to appear that smart. When in reality, all the SMART people were dropouts, Apple founder, tesla founder never attended schools or even left schools who are now some of the richest persons. Remember there is huge difference between someone who is SMART and someone who SCORES GOOD GRADES. Only your are NOT suffering from this situation, millions of students are and you may just try to take out time for your hobbies or for the extracurricular activities you like. Take out 1-2 hours for them from your schedule, After all, that is what you love to do, not solving some random math questions which don't even make sense.

All the best! You are a rising start and never supress your likes and hobbies due to the traditional system. I hope you find what you love and go towards it till the end.
