Given :- my spherical stone ball having the radius 0.7dcm length is completely immersed into the water of reservoir.

To Find :- How much water will be overflowed from the reservoir ?

Answer :-

we know that,

  • 1 dm = 10 cm .
  • Water overflow will equal to the Volume of sphere .
  • Volume of sphere = (4/3) * π * (radius)³.

so,

→ Radius of spherical stone ball = 0.7 * 10 = 7 cm.

then,

→ Volume of Water overflow = Volume of spherical stone ball

→ Volume of Water overflow = (4/3) * (22/7) * 7 * 7 * 7 = (4/3) * 22 * 49 = 1437.34 cm³ .

now, we know that,

→ 1000 cm³ = 1 litre .

therefore,

→ 1437.34 cm³ = (1437.34/1000) ≈ 1.44 litre (Ans.)
