my sst teacher has told to make a report on struggle on freedom that recently took place in countries near india.i can't understand it help me please.

an struggle  took place in nepal in april 2006 the movement was aimed at restoring democracy nepalese king birendra had accepted the constitutional monarchy but he was killed in a mysterious massacre of the royal family ,now the new king was king gyanendra ,the new of nepal was not prepared to accept democratic rule ,in feb 2005 the kinng dismissed the prime minister and dissolved the parliament .the movement of april 2006 was aimed at regaining popular control over the government from the king ,all the major political party in the parliament formed a seven party alliance (SPA) and called a four day strike in kathmandu, the strike turned into an indefinite strike in which maoist insurgents and various other organisation  joined hands the no. of protestor reached between three to five lakhs .they stuck to their demands for restoration of parliament and on 24th april the king was forced to concede to their demands ,the spa choose girija prashad koirala as the new prime minister of their interim government 

this struggle came to be known as NEPAL second movement for democracy.
